The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.

Location – This role will require travel & support to our client sites across UK, Ireland & Europe.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • The HSEQ Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HSEQ across the sites.
  • Proven record of strategic implementation across an international portfolio.
  • Manage ISO Certification and Audits.
  • Organize Health and Safety Training and manage the on-site training matrix.
  • Develop and work with the teams on monthly safety alert/toolbox talk topics as per current risks and trends.
  • Order and arrange PPE for high risk tasks.
  • Participate in the audit processes and procedures, ensuring the business complies with all relevant statutory and best practice.
  • Oversee and implement task specific safety documentation, ensuring risks and hazards are communicated to all relevant parties.
  • Carry out COSHH Assessments and chemical handling training within the Plant.
  • Investigate and compile Accident/Incident/Near Miss Reports.
  • Develop procedures and SOPs for the on-site teams working with the Client EHS Team.
  • Carrying out Site Audit Inspections.
  • Analyze the monthly EHS statistics for global board reports and looking for any current trends.
  • Liaise with EHS regulators HSA, EPA, local councils etc.
  • Lead by example with PPE compliance across the Plants.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to ensure alignment on priority EHS issues and plans to address same.
  • Promote and support a culture of accountability and collaboration in relation to safety and environmental performance and expectations.
  • Manage spend in line with budget and drive efficiencies and cost savings across EHS service and equipment providers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum degree or higher diploma in health and safety / NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Minimum 2.5 years’ experience in a customer service driven environment.
  • Experience working in a Pharmaceutical Regulated Compliant Environment.
  • Working within Pharmaceutical Quality Management System requirements.
  • Experience working with management systems i.e. ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001.
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative, with problem solving skills and be innovative.
  • Membership of IOSH (or working towards) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft IT applications.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence and Access to own vehicle.
  • Flexibility to travel as required with a valid passport and ability to travel across Europe.
  • Experience in auditing HSEQ management systems.
  • Proven record of strategic thinking with an international aspect.

You will work Monday to Friday, however you will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
