The Bid Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, managing the development and delivery of compelling, compliant and commercially attractive submissions. Working closely with operational, commercial and subject matter experts across the business, you will play a key role in securing new opportunities, retaining existing contracts and expanding service offerings.
You will lead bid kick-off sessions, shape win strategies, develop clear value propositions and ensure all submissions meet governance, quality and deadline requirements. This is a highly collaborative and fast-paced role, requiring strong writing skills, stakeholder management and the ability to work to challenging timescales.
Our Ideal Bid Manager will need to have:
- Proven experience managing complex bids or tenders from qualification through to submission
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Solid understanding of bid processes, governance and scoring methodologies
- Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret technical and financial information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience within Facilities Management or a related services environment (highly desirable)
- APMP, project management qualifications or bid tools experience (desirable)
You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility required to meet business and bid deadlines. You will also have access to Apleona’s full employee benefits package from day one.
