The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.

To support growth and expansion we are currently recruiting a full-time Facility Manager to join our team in Limerick City.

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday from 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00 to 15:30.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Overarching management of soft services team & Plant facilities on-site.
  • Manage Facility & soft services teams to ensure KPI metrics are constantly met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Report to leadership team on current issues and clear escalation paths.
  • Assess and report current state & capacity of plant services.
  • Provide future strategy for plant upgrade & replacement.
  • Actively interface with cross-functional team members, always practicing good teamwork in support of day-to-day operating requirements.
  • Work with support teams to co-ordinate preventative maintenance and calibration activities on plants and services.
  • Identify and assist the business with the implementation of technical improvements.
  • Carry out planning & execution of facility tasks during annual shutdowns.
  • Be available to work annual shutdowns in concert & support of Vendor service teams for various equipment streams.
  • Provision of out of hours support in a business-critical situation or as mandated by shutdowns and/or Facility & Plant Failures.
  • Maintain an internal "Best Practice" regime and encourage continuous improvements.
  • Assist subcontractors as required to maintain appropriate records with plant CMMS.
  • Must be willing to take on and familiarize yourself with all relevant site systems as deemed necessary to complete the role.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Facility Engineering/Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical or related discipline is required.
  • 3+ years in an FM managerial role.
  • Multiple years experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
  • Business understanding of operations and key business metrics.
  • Strong IT skills, including good working knowledge of MS Office (essential) and relevant facility management software.
  • Proven track record in Facility Management.
