We are looking for an Evening Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Dublin 18.

Working pattern: Monday to Sunday 14:30-22:30

To undertake the organisation and rota of the daily cleaning of the building in line with Health & Safety Standards. The Supervisor will work within the team to ensure that the building is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.

The following are key areas of responsibility:

  • Overall, ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department while organising all rota of employees within their areas of supervisory roles.
  • Authorise, allocate, and record in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager cleaning staff absences.
  • Ensure correct and thorough training is given to all employees on the cleaning products and cleaning roles within their establishment.
  • Organise relief work for those on holidays or out due to illness.
  • Ensure correct levels of stock are held and replenished.
  • Organise general housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control.
  • Report and store lost and found items.
  • Handle complaints in line with your Manager.
  • Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to service users, ex-service users and general business.
  • Adhere to all company policies & procedures.
  • Attend training and meetings as required and appropriate.
  • Participate in recruitment and performance reviews.
  • Keep accurate records in relation to all aspects of work and prepare reports as required.
  • Have a flexible approach to work in response to business change, development and review of best practice.
  • Undertake other duties as requested by the Cleaning Manager.

Requirements:

  • Good work record and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy essential for administrative purposes.
  • Experience of using cleaning equipment.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
  • Knowledge of how to use equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
