As an Account Services Representative, you will be responsible for processing routine data entry and online input of transactions, using a basic understanding of products and processes in a production environment. Activities may also include dependent tasks or practical applications with emphasis on throughput, accuracy, and production. This role is not sales oriented. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM. NOTE: This position is entry level and requires availability Monday - Friday.
What will you do?
- Provide consistent service within established Client Service Commitments for each department.
- Ensure all documents are examined for completeness and accuracy, and take appropriate steps to correct for the client.
- Identify and recommend solutions to recurring errors and servicing gaps to Team Leader.
- Understand and accept change as it relates to your role and commitment to client fulfilment.
- Exercise due diligence in following operational risk policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Ensure all authorities (SECAF, Delegated Authorities, Anti Money Laundering, Systems access etc.) are adhered to, reviewed, and understood.
- Take personal accountability for high achievement; actively participate in coaching opportunities and learning opportunities to improve individual and team contribution.
- Demonstrate six Principles of Problem Resolution: Assume the client is right, Take ownership, Demonstrate concern, Apologise sincerely, Solve the problem, Go the extra mile.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Availability 5 days a week; working a variety of shifts between 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Position is required to cover vacation and peak volumes (for example, weeks of Christmas and summer, May through September).
- Ability to work on tight timelines and high volumes of work in a production environment.
- Numeric keyboard skills are a must.
