We are looking for a talented individual to join as a Technical Business Analyst within the Funding, Treasury and Liquidity (FTL) Program. The specific role will report to the Product Owner in London and form part of a development pod in the region. The role will focus primarily on Pre-Trade activities within the Central Funding Group primarily working on the ATOM application, however a portion of time also needs to be spent on post-trade activities on the Apex vendor platform. ATOM is a greenfield global front office analytics, risk and trade order management platform used globally by the Central Funding business.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in 100 Bishopsgate, London office.

What will you do?

  • You will be responsible for delivering enhancements on the ATOM platform as well as provide day-to-day support to traders using both ATOM and Apex.
  • You will participate in the SDLC from the beginning, where you will be involved in requirements gathering workshops and ad-hoc sessions and right till the end where you will sign off on test results before deployment.
  • You will have the opportunity to interact with senior leadership, traders and technology teams across the organization.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Ability to translate requirements from non-technical users to developers
  • Ability to explain technical issues and constraints to non-technical users
  • Proficiency in data modelling and ability to query relational databases to a functional level
  • Familiarity with Capital Markets environments
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support requirements gathering, prototyping, and test case development.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in interacting with and gathering requirements for Front Office users
  • Understanding of the Repo and Sec Lending markets (Front Office, Settlements and Collateral Management)
  • Knowledge of Risk calculation methods
  • Knowledge or familiarity with messaging protocols such as FIX, FpML etc.
