Salary Range £33,203 - £34,950. We support flexible working options including hybrid working and job share.
This is a full-time Fixed Term Contract or Secondment based in Edinburgh, Birmingham or Manchester.

What you’ll be doing:
- An opportunity has arisen in our AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Due Diligence team, providing technical expertise to help assess potential and actual risk across Business & Commercial Banking portfolios.
- Your work will support Group-wide policy requirements and minimum standards, helping us manage risk effectively and protect our customers and the business.
- You’ll carry out ongoing due diligence for Business & Commercial Banking, clearly explaining requirements and providing support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- You’ll also build strong working relationships across Business & Commercial Banking, acting as a key liaison point and collaborating closely with AML partners to ensure queries and requirements are managed effectively.
- Use your procedural, product and specialist knowledge to provide technical support and expertise to clients.
- Take ownership of queries and issues, working through to a resolution.
- Apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills when working under pressure.
- Manage expectations and build positive relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Prioritise your workload effectively.
- Work to strict deadlines and agreed service standards.

- Minimum of 2 years strong technical knowledge of Anti-Bribery, AML and Sanctions, with the ability to apply this in a client-focused environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to explain technical information clearly.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients.
- A collaborative team player who can work well with others and contribute positively to business goals.
And any experience of these would be great:
- Good technical knowledge of other financial crime areas, in addition to Anti-Bribery, AML and Sanctions.
