- Core Responsibilities
- Leads low and medium complexity sourcing transactions based on assessment of business needs.
- Leads and facilitates discussions on relationship, cost, and capabilities with leadership and suppliers.
- Manages the process of competitive bidding through the RFx process and supports supplier analysis, pricing models, and partnership opportunities.
- Evaluates vendors against contracts, data analysis, and knowledge of a specific category.
- Drives engagements through defined sourcing processes, resolving issues and involving stakeholders as needed.
- Interfaces heavily with other Sourcing teams, business owners, and Legal & Risk partners for each transaction.
- Creates and maintains vendor operations dashboard to analysis statistics and delivers outcomes.
- Ensures suppliers have instruction and technical support.
- Participates in strategic vendor related initiatives.
- Provides relationship and project management expertise.
- Coordinates multiple stakeholders for input and collaboration for procurement activities.
- Oversees vendor invoicing and contract review and approvals.
- Proactively considers and suggests vendor alternatives and contract timelines.
- Supports adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Three years of related work experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
Nice-to-have skills (not required)
- IT sourcing background, exposure to data and analytics tools (e. g., Tableau, Power BI), along with experience supporting day-to-day sourcing activities in a fast-paced environment, and strong decision-making, prioritization, and communication skills.
