About this role Full Stack Developer (Associate) — London Engineering Team (Preqin & e Front | Black Rock) Preqin (part of Black Rock) is looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer (Associate) to join our London Engineering Team .

In this role, you’ll help design, build, and run products across Preqin and e Front , supporting applications used by clients globally.

You’ll collaborate with a high-performing, international team and work across both the technical and functional layers of the product in a fast-growing Private Markets environment.

You’ll contribute to delivering scalable, cloud-first solutions using modern engineering practices and technologies including .

NET, Azure , and modern web frameworks.

Python , AWS and Snowflake experience are a plus.

  • Frontend: React / Type Script / Micro front-end architecture
  • Cloud: Azure services (primary); AWS (nice to have)
  • Data: MS SQL, Mongo DB, Snowflake
  • APIs: g RPC and REST
  • Architecture: Microservices, cloud-native distributed systems
  • Containerisation & Orchestration: Containers, Kubernetes , orchestration tools and patterns
  • Python: Nice to have / plus

Responsibilities

  • Build new features end-to-end, from concept through production deployment
  • Take ownership of parts of a Saa S product, including production monitoring and incident resolution in the cloud
  • Apply information security practices throughout design and delivery
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering ways of working (CI/CD, automated testing, best practices)
  • Collaborate with a talented, open-minded team with a strong innovation mindset

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Science, Mathematics, Organizational Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of experience in backend development ( . NET ) and frontend development with modern frameworks ( React/Type Script )
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and engineering best practices
  • Experience building and consuming APIs using g RPC and/or REST
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and development
  • Understanding of containerisation and deploying cloud-native applications
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to navigate and understand an existing codebase
  • Interest in the functional side of the product; finance industry knowledge is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive and able to handle multiple workstreams
  • Nice t o h ave Python experience AWS exposure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
