The Role
Capco is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with deep Core Banking expertise to join our Banking & Payments practice. Working with leading retail, commercial, and challenger banks, you will help shape and deliver complex transformation programmes across core banking platforms, products, and customer journeys. This role is ideal for a Business Analyst who combines strong analysis skills with a product-oriented mindset. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, architects, and product teams to define and deliver solutions that create measurable business value. As AI continues to reshape financial services, you'll also help clients adopt AI-enabled ways of working that enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and accelerate delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead business analysis activities across core banking transformation initiatives, from discovery through to implementation.
- Define business capabilities, customer journeys, operating processes, and requirements for banking products and platform modernisation programmes.
- Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams to manage backlogs, refine priorities, and translate strategic objectives into actionable user stories and requirements.
- Apply AI-enabled tools and techniques to improve analysis, process modelling, requirements management, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across business, operations, technology, risk, and change functions to drive alignment and delivery success.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering business analysis within Core Banking transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of banking products and capabilities including current accounts, savings, lending, mortgages, payments, customer servicing, or onboarding.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments with responsibility for requirements definition, backlog management, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrable product understanding with the ability to think beyond requirements and focus on customer outcomes, business value, and commercial objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively across multiple levels of an organisation.

- Experience performing Product Owner responsibilities or working closely within product-led operating models.
- Knowledge of modern core banking platforms, cloud-native architectures, APIs, open banking, or Banking-as-a-Service ecosystems.
