Program Description: Blackstone Connects is the firm's global employee engagement program, enabling employees to support their local communities through volunteering and giving. The program partners with nonprofits across 27 global offices and facilitates employee-driven charitable initiatives worldwide. In 2025, nearly 90% of Blackstone employees participated in firm-sponsored charitable activities.
Role Overview: Blackstone is seeking an Associate to support the delivery of Blackstone Connects globally, with primary responsibility for coordinating EMEA and APAC charitable activity and managing the firm's global charitable committee network across the US, EMEA, and APAC. With a strong emphasis on ownership, process, organization and collaboration, this role will work closely with regional and business unit committee leads, nonprofit partners, and internal stakeholders to manage end-to-end planning, execution, and reporting of employee volunteering, giving, and charitable initiatives. This position is headquartered in Blackstone's London office, and reports to the SVP leading the Connects program in New York.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of charitable partnerships, employee engagement programs, and events across EMEA and APAC offices, managing timelines, workflows, and key milestones.
- Identify, vet, and manage nonprofit partners across EMEA and APAC, overseeing partnership requests, funding commitments, and program deliverables.
- Coordinate regional charitable activity including volunteer initiatives, fundraising campaigns, nonprofit board service, and internal grant competitions.
- Support the planning and execution of high-profile events in partnership with the New York-based team.
- Coordinate Blackstone's global charitable committee network across the US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC, serving as the primary point of contact for regional and business unit committee leads.
- Drive consistent processes, communications, and knowledge sharing across committees to support effective collaboration and employee-led initiatives.
- Contribute to annual program planning and strategy, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement, expand partnerships, and enhance impact across regions.
- Prepare program updates, engagement summaries, and impact reports for internal stakeholders.
- Track, manage, and report on program budgets, grant allocations, and engagement metrics across regions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved commitments.
- Manage and maintain Blackstone's employee engagement and giving platform (Deed), ensuring accurate data, timely campaign setup, and seamless employee experience.
- Maintain organized records of partnerships, grants, and program activity across internal systems and collaboration tools including SharePoint and Box.
