What You Will Do
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of closing entries
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements and reports
- Validate bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process and reconcile payroll-related transactions
- Prepare or coordinate indirect tax returns, including GST/HST and QST, as applicable
- Contribute to the processing of corporate tax documents and ensure compliance with T2 filing requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including NCECF and/or IFRS
- Communicate with external auditors, financial institutions, consultants and tax authorities such as CRA and Revenu Québec
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to accounting processes, systems and internal controls
- Participate in the upgrade, implementation or migration of ERP and financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central, etc.)
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data across all accounting systems

- Au moins 3 ans d’expérience progressive en comptabilité ou en finance, acquise dans le cadre d’un cycle complet de comptabilité

- Expérience au sein d’un cabinet d’experts-comptables, un atout
- Solide connaissance des exigences comptables et fiscales canadiennes, y compris la TPS/TVH, la TVQ et l’impôt des sociétés
- Connaissance des NCECF et/ou des IFRS, un atout
- Grandes compétences en analyse, souci du détail et capacité à résoudre des problèmes
