APL Media Limited, the publisher of National Geographic Traveller (UK), is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented media sales executive to join its Kentish Town-based team.

As Media Sales Executive, you’ll report directly to the director of sales – National Geographic Traveller (UK). You’ll be focusing on developing new business relationships for National Geographic Traveller (UK) through sourcing, developing and selling advertising campaigns to a range of both public and private sector clients across a range of industries.

Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Selling advertising campaigns to run in National Geographic Traveller (UK)
  • Working with other members of the team to ensure sales targets are consistently met or exceeded
  • Cultivating new business relationships with senior decision-makers at advertising agencies and marketing firms, and directly with client organisations
  • Crafting compelling pitches and proposals that showcase the unique value of National Geographic Traveller (UK)’s offering
  • Overseeing the entire sales cycle, from finding new leads to contract closure and campaign development
  • Fostering strong working relationships with internal teams, including editorial, design and production
About you:
  • Previous experience within a media sales executive role or similar
