This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing customer-facing technology solutions to meet business and financial objectives. The Advisor, Technology Solutions (TMS) would work hybrid in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:- Translate technical language into business language to bridge the gap between business and technical professionals
- Collaboration with product owner and sales leads to create technology solutions pitch to customers
- Be the lead solution architect for the platform, guiding technical direction and architectural decisions
- Configure and support TMS modules including master data, rates, integrations (API/MW), and workflow setup.
- Participate in global TMS governance, architecture standards, and BY Network community activities.
- Support TMS implementation projects, including UAT, process design, master data preparation, and deployment
- Drive platform governance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identifying and validating IT business solutions to meet customers’ implementation requirements
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Provide feedback on application releases and rollouts
- Participate in solutioning meetings to ensure adherence to core principles
- Ensure new feature knowledge is cascaded to relevant teams and stakeholders
- Create and manage technology capabilities roadmap and prioritization
- Identify technology solutions to meet business and financial objectives
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, supply chain engineering, or supply chain logistics
- Minimum 3–5 years hands‑on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ideally in configuration, implementation, or administration
- Experience in implementation processes
- Hands-on experience of administrating Transport Management Systems (TMS)
- Practical knowledge of BlueYonder suite of logistics products, especially BY Network (formerly OneNetwork)
- Strong skills in requirements gathering
- Strong organization, time management and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English
- Additional fluency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Spanish, French, Italian, or German
