Right now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Technology Solutions Team in the position of Advisor, Technology Solutions and Digital Products.
This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing customer-facing technology solutions to meet business and financial objectives. The Advisor, Technology Solutions and Digital Products would have the opportunity to work remote from any location in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
Translate technical language into business language to bridge the gap between business and technical professionals
Collaboration with product owner and sales leads to create technology solutions pitch to customers
Be the lead solution architect for the platform, guiding technical direction and architectural decisions
Drive platform governance and continuous improvement initiatives
Identifying and validating IT business solutions to meet customers’ implementation requirements
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Provide feedback on application releases and rollouts
Participate in solutioning meetings to ensure adherence to core principles
Ensure new feature knowledge is cascaded to relevant teams and stakeholders
Create and manage technology capabilities roadmap and prioritization
Identify technology solutions to meet business and financial objectives
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, supply chain engineering, or supply chain logistics
Minimum 5 years of well-rounded technology, logistics operations, and customer-facing experience
Experience in implementation processes
Hands-on experience of administrating Transport Management Systems
Practical knowledge of BlueYonder suite of logistics products, especially BY Network (formerly OneNetwork)
Strong skills in requirements gathering
Strong organization, time management and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in English
Additional fluency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Spanish, French, Italian, or German
