We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Investment Associate to join our growing team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with 2-3 years of experience in private equity or investment banking to play a key role in sourcing, evaluating and executing investment opportunities across the financial services and technology sectors.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting industry research and market analysis to proactively identify potential investment opportunities
- Assessing the viability of opportunities through rigorous financial and commercial analysis
- Developing financial models and validating key assumptions
- Supporting the end-to-end due diligence and transaction process
- Liaising with management teams, vendors, banks and advisors
- Preparing investment rationales, pitch decks and assisting with CRM tools
- Supporting the consistent application of high-quality investment processes throughout the deal lifecycle
Your Profile:
- 2-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking or related field
- Strong skills in financial modelling, valuation and business analysis
- Exposure to transactions in fintech or broader finance sectors
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related field
