We are seeking a Junior Management Accountant to join our Finance Team to provide support to the financial management of projects. In this role, you will own the day-to-day management accounting process for a smaller group entity once established in role. Within the broader business support, you will be involved in purchase and sales invoice processing, cash collection, and helping ensure projects stay within budget. This role is hands-on, detail-driven, and ideal for someone building a career in management accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Controlling the management accounting close process for a smaller group entity
  • Support for other monthly financial close activities
  • Sales and purchase invoice processing, revenue recognition, and cost allocations
  • Support cashflow forecasting
  • Track and record project costs, budgets, and forecasts
  • Prepare basic financial reports for managers and finance leaders
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews
  • Support process improvements and standardization
  • Provide support to key finance projects and implementations across various areas of the business
  • Provide support and coverage to other members of the finance team

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance or similar
  • Strong Excel skills (lookups, sumif, pivots, basic formulas expected)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with non-finance stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of work

Preferred:

  • Experience with ERP or project accounting systems
  • Exposure to project-based environments (engineering, manufacturing, consulting, etc.)
  • Progress toward a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Other Requirements:

  • SC cleared or ability to obtain
