We are looking for a proactive and hands‑on Production Team Leader to lead a manufacturing team within our production environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor or team leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, developing people, improving performance, and creating a positive, accountable team culture.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Production & Operational Performance Lead daily production activities to ensure delivery targets are achieved.
  • Plan and allocate labour and resources to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor performance, identify issues, and take corrective action.
  • Lead Tier 1 meetings and provide clear performance updates.
  • Maintain accurate production and performance data through operational systems and visual management tools.
  • People Leadership
  • Lead, coach and support a production team to achieve high standards.
  • Set clear expectations and hold individuals accountable for performance and behaviours.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and development discussions.
  • Training & Workforce Development
  • Ensure team members are trained, competent and multi‑skilled.
  • Identify capability gaps and support development plans.
  • Build flexibility and resilience within the team through coaching and training.
  • Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Champion a strong safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Lead problem‑solving and continuous improvement activities that increase efficiency, throughput, quality and equipment reliability.
  • Support Lean, 5S and workplace organisation initiatives.

  • Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a manufacturing or production environment.
