About Aphex

We are the construction planning platform that is replacing outdated spreadsheets with multiplayer tools that delivery teams love. Major contractors like BAM, Balfour Beatty, SKANSKA, Kier, MACE, and Murphy use Aphex to deliver projects ranging from £50 million to multi-billion pound megaprojects. We are the market-leading solution in both Australia and the UK. Since launching in the UK in 2019, we have transformed how major contractors plan and build projects. When we expanded to Australia in 2022, we quickly became the go-to platform for major infrastructure and building projects. Today, we are supporting teams building the roads, rail, tunnels, hospitals and buildings that millions of people will use every day. We are tackling an industry that drives 10% of global GDP yet has seen productivity decline for 20 years. It is time for change.

The Role

As our UK Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our growth efforts. This role blends deep demand generation craft with the ability to build a nuanced understanding of the unique dynamics of construction projects. You will combine solid marketing fundamentals with curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to engage deeply with the challenges of our industry.

In this role, you will:

  • Build on a solid foundation: You will inherit a rare combination of starting components. In our established markets (UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand), we have solid product–market fit — evidenced by enterprise-wide adoption across major contractors and passionate customer advocates. We also have a powerful library of case studies, industry voices on our podcast, and true evangelists who organically share Aphex. You will use this foundation to expand awareness and demand, while contributing to exciting growth into emerging markets where early testing and validation are already underway.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to understand the challenges and needs of the engineers planning the projects that shape our world — helping ensure marketing efforts consistently ladder up to real customer truths.
  • Drive hypothesis-driven thinking in GTM: Use a loop of hypothesis → experiment → feedback → iteration to refine our approach. You will adapt to differences across project types (rail, bridges, hospitals), contractor tiers (T1/T2), and market maturity. You will help us ask the right questions and turn insights into action.
  • Lead digital marketing: Manage our UK-based digital marketing engine with an initial focus on LinkedIn Ads. You will build on the solid foundations already laid, working with our designer, APAC-based growth marketing manager, and cross-functional teams to ideate, launch, and iterate on campaigns. You will drive brand awareness and lead generation — especially through lead enrichment and smart use of tools, including AI-enabled workflows (e.g., Clay) to scale and personalise campaigns.
  • Leverage concepts like ABM: Understand our audience deeply and deploy account-based approaches to engage potential customers in the micro-markets and identities they reference.

What You Will Bring

  • Solid collaboration and relationship-building skills across Sales, CS, product and cross-functional partners.
  • A growth mindset — experimental, open to feedback, and willingness to learn.
  • Deep understanding of how to build and optimise digital campaigns (LinkedIn expertise strongly preferred).
  • Solid analytical capability: able to interpret data without overweighting low-quality signals, ask sharp questions, and translate insights into strategic action.
  • Great communication skills — able to distill complexity and communicate outcomes, learnings, and marketing performance clearly across the company.
  • Curiosity and willingness to deeply understand new markets, industry truths, customer behaviours, and the nuances of construction delivery.
  • High creativity and attention to detail to create campaigns that cut through complexity and highlight tangible value.
  • An interest in events, community, and building long-term relationships in a relationship-driven sector.

Benefits

  • A high-performing team: Work with a collaborative and motivated group who genuinely enjoy building together.
  • The right tools: A MacBook Pro and a modern marketing tech stack.
  • Genuine development: Ongoing training, coaching, and a personal development budget.
  • A focus on culture: We are focused about making real impact together.
  • Annual Aphex Offsite: In 2025 our team met for a week in Da Nang, Vietnam, join us to see what 2026 has in store.
