You will be a senior developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with exposure to AWS also considered valuable.
- Proven experience in distributed systems programming, including designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and resilient applications.
- Strong understanding of relational database systems, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience developing and supporting service-oriented architecture.
- Strong programming and software development expertise in modern Java.
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, while driving engineering excellence through code reviews and collaboration.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective professional relationships across teams.
- Self-motivated, curious, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, e.g. Jenkins, Sonar and CI/CD principles
- Experience with React/Angular frameworks
- Financial Services and/or Software Consulting experience
