Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Poole, Bournemouth & surrounding area. You'll be supporting us on our mission to transform social care and enable more people to live longer, healthier and happier lives in their own homes. In this role you will support people who have recently left hospital following surgery or illness that require additional support whilst they recover. This is a vital care service that means people can leave hospital sooner and reduces pressure on the NHS.
We are looking for people willing to commit to at least 3 shifts per week (21hrs), with a minimum of one evening shift for part-time and 2 for full-time. You will also work alternative weekends (1 day for part-time, 2 days for full-time). Shifts are 7am-2pm and 3pm-10pm and this role is paid as a block hourly rate, covering travel time and care visits. You must be prepared to work across the service area for this contract as we cover hospital discharge for the whole district, walking runs will have visits close together but you may need to travel to the core area of work and we cannot guarantee work in your immediate vicinity.
We have part-time and full-time roles available, Guaranteed hour contracts are available for reliable and flexible employees after probation.
