Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager- Time Critical Logistics, located in Sunderland, with some work from home acceptable. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and developing strategies for business growth. Daily tasks will include meeting potential clients, understanding their logistics needs, presenting tailored solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Business Development or Sales roles
- Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain management
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify market opportunities and develop strategic plans
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field is preferred
- Experience in time-critical logistics is a plus
