UX Designer – UK

Required Skills:

Senior/Lead Level Product Designer

Experience in auditing sites for usability

• Will need some UX Research skills – can partner with UX research if needed, but will need to handle some things on their own

o Usability testing

o Heuristic reviews

o Interviews, etc.

• Must have experience in designing accessible sites

o Experience following Level AA accessibility compliance

o Moving from WCAG 2.1 to 2.2

• UX design skills

o Information Architecture, Taxonomy, User Flows, Wireframes, Prototypes

• UI/Visual Design skills

o Layouts

o Ability to pull components from existing design system, will not need to design components from scratch

• Experience working on external facing websites

o Plus if they have worked on very visible projects, this is one of most visible projects in AZ right now

• Ability to deal with senior level stakeholders – this designer cannot be an order taker

o CEO is very involved

o Ability to be in room and provide opinions and point of view

o Ability to explain and defend the “why” behind design and design decisions

o Ability to steer and educate around UX

• Experience in designing responsive web – no native mobile at all for this

• Experience in Figma

• Miro would be a plus or experience in other collaboration tools

• AEM platform would be very useful

UX Design

  • Personas & Journeys: Define user personas and map key user journeys.
  • Information Architecture: Restructure navigation for ease of use.
  • Wireframes & Prototypes: Develop and test interactive design concepts.
  • Visual Design: Create a modern, responsive, and branded interface.
  • Content Strategy: Ensure concise, user-focused content.
