Technical BAs are expected to be hands on and technically fluent, working closely with Risk, Quant, and Engineering stakeholders. Key expectations include:
- Close collaboration with Risk, Quant, and Engineering teams
- Translation of regulatory and risk requirements into clear technical and functional specifications
- Strong understanding of risk computation workflows, data flows, and controls
- Fluency in Python to process data quality checks, investigate calculation issues, run pricing and risk reproductions, and support validation and control processes
- Ability to reason about results, explain discrepancies, and support delivery across asset classes
