Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Execution & Planning
    • Coordinate site access and system setup (e.g. RightCrowd, BOLT)
    • Ensure all safety documentation is completed and approved (RAMS, Permit to Work)
    • Verify technical readiness including IOQ and SWEH requirements
    • Review site infrastructure and utilities to support installation
    • Plan logistics for delivery, staging, and installation of equipment
    • Align with local teams on resources, timelines, and site readiness
  • Onsite Project Execution
    • Act as the lead onsite PM, driving daily coordination of installation activities
    • Manage and oversee third-party contractors (3PAs) and installation teams
    • Lead daily briefings, safety inductions, and progress meetings
    • Coordinate closely with Operations teams, Maintenance teams, and Engineering stakeholders
    • Track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues in real time
    • Manage snag lists and issue resolution (Asana, Quip)
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards (BOLT)
    • Support testing, commissioning, and system handover
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Management
    • Maintain daily reporting and progress updates (Asana / internal tools)
    • Support weekly reporting and stakeholder meetings
    • Document safety observations and lessons learned
    • Provide clear communication to programme leadership and site stakeholders
    • Prepare final documentation and project handover materials

Project Scope

  • Deployment of new robotic automation systems
  • Removal of legacy equipment + installation of new solutions
  • Integration with PLC-driven systems and broader fulfilment tech stack
  • Team size: approx. 5 direct/indirect reports
  • High stakeholder interaction across engineering, operations, and maintenance

Required Experience & Skills

  • Core Requirements
    • Proven experience as an Onsite Project Manager / Site Lead in industrial or technical environments
    • Strong background in logistics, warehouse automation, or MHE installations
    • Experience managing installation projects involving PLC integration
    • Familiarity with automation systems (conveyors, robotics, control systems)
  • Key Skills
    • Strong project coordination and execution capability
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
    • Solid understanding of industrial automation processes, logistics / warehouse operations, and safety and compliance standards
    • Experience managing contractors and cross-functional teams
    • Ability to manage risk, scheduling, and issue resolution onsite
    • Strong documentation and reporting skills
