ERP Practice / Engagement Manager

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced ERP Practice / Engagement Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex ERP programmes and managed services engagements across global client environments.
This role sits at the heart of our ERP business, bringing together client stakeholders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to ensure programmes are delivered successfully, relationships are strengthened, and commercial objectives are achieved. You will play a key role in shaping delivery excellence, driving client satisfaction, and supporting the continued growth of our ERP practice.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Programme Management
- Lead the ERP Project Management Practice, overseeing governance across global ERP implementations and transformation programmes.
- Manage and mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators while providing leadership across key client engagements.
- Ensure alignment between onshore leadership, offshore delivery, and client teams on scope, timeline, and quality. .
- Apply appropriate methodology (Agile/Waterfall/hybrid) per engagement and enforce PMO discipline (status reporting, change control, stage gates).
Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact for key client stakeholders.
- Lead governance meetings, executive reviews, service reviews, and escalation management.
- Provide clear visibility of programme performance, risks, financial status, and delivery outcomes.
- Support account growth by identifying opportunities within existing client relationships and partnering with commercial teams.
- Proactively manage client expectations to ensure high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
Vendor Management
- Required experience building relationships with ERP software vendors and third-party implementation/service partners.
- Leverage strong Infor ERP expertise to support regional vendor engagement and collaboration.
- Oversee contract and SOW delivery, commercial discussions, and issue resolution.
- Negotiate and manage vendor commitments to ensure successful client outcomes.
Managed Services & Offshore Delivery
- Oversee offshore managed service and delivery teams, ensuring performance against SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
- Provide leadership, coaching, resource oversight, and escalation support across offshore teams.
- Drive operational consistency through standardised delivery processes, reporting, and tool adoption.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks related to resourcing, communication, capacity, and service performance.
Candidate Profile
Required
- Proven experience delivering large-scale ERP implementation programmes and ERP managed services.
- Strong experience managing offshore and/or nearshore delivery teams.
- Demonstrated success managing senior client stakeholders in complex, multinational environments.
- Strong commercial awareness and vendor management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent programme/project management certification.
Preferred
- Experience supporting clients across the UK and Europe.
- Strong knowledge of the Infor ERP ecosystem.
- Additional European language skills (Spanish, French, or Italian).
- Background within a systems integrator, consultancy, or ERP services organisation.
