About the Role

We’re seeking a seasoned and passionate Producer to drive the planning, execution, and delivery of content, events, and live experiences within our competitive gaming ecosystem. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of game development, competition and community engagement. You’ll oversee cross-functional initiatives across tournaments, competitive operations, communications, and player-facing programs. This is a high-impact role that blends logistics and creativity — ideal for someone who understands what it takes to bring competitive gaming to life both online and on stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead production of competitive gaming initiatives, including esports broadcasts, in-game events, tournaments, and league operations.
  • Own project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination across production, broadcast, marketing, community, and game teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define goals, KPIs, and audience experience for live and digital competitive content.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners (broadcast teams, agencies, vendors, tournament operators).
  • Anticipate risks, troubleshoot in real-time, and ensure smooth delivery under tight deadlines and live constraints.
  • Partner with game and product teams to align on competitive features, balancing gameplay and viewing experience.
  • Support player relations, competitive integrity, and tournament rulesets where applicable.
  • Coordinate team workflows and maintain project documentation using tools like Jira, Airtable, or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of production or project management experience, with at least 2 years in esports, live content, or competitive gaming.
  • Deep understanding of esports ecosystems — from grassroots to pro-level.
  • Experience producing live events, esports broadcasts, or competitive game content.
  • Strong operational and communication skills; thrives under pressure and adapts quickly in live environments.
  • Proficient with production tools and workflows (Jira, Confluence, Airtable, or similar).
  • A collaborative leader with a player-first mindset and a knack for creative problem solving.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a hybrid or remote team environment.
  • Willingness to travel for live events or on-site production support (as needed).

Bonus Points

  • Experience working on competitive multiplayer game titles (especially in production, live ops, or systems design support).
  • Familiarity with ranked systems, matchmaking, tournament tools, or in-game event frameworks.
  • Understanding of competitive balance, meta shifts, and patch pipelines from a development perspective.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with engineering, design, and QA teams on features that support competitive play (e.g., spectator modes, ladders, anti-cheat).
  • Passion for competitive games and a deep appreciation for what makes a satisfying player-versus-player experience.
