Ideal Candidate Profile

We're seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of critical cooling and water systems within a mission-critical environment.

Key Requirements

  • Mechanical maintenance experience within Data Centres, Banking, Manufacturing, Industrial, Critical Facilities or Large Commercial environments.

• Strong knowledge of

  • Chillers
  • Cooling Towers
  • AHUs / FCUs
  • Pumps & Motors
  • Pressurisation Units
  • Plate Heat Exchangers
  • Domestic & LTHW/CHW Systems
  • Plant Rooms
  • Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Water Treatment and Water Hygiene experience.
  • Legionella / ACOP L8 knowledge highly desirable.
  • Experience using BMS systems for monitoring and fault investigation.
  • Fault-finding capability across mechanical building services infrastructure.
  • Experience working within permit-to-work and safety-critical environments.

Desirable

  • Data Centre experience.
  • Critical environment experience.
  • Cooling tower testing and water treatment programmes.
  • F-Gas qualification.
  • Mechanical apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
