Overview
Our client is a tier 2 social housing / social buildings refurbishment and regeneration contractor turning over approximately £70m. They have exclusive frameworks and contracts with local councils, presenting an excellent opportunity to join a local firm with upcoming and ongoing works. They are currently recruiting for 3 skilled labourers, either individually or as a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the removal of sections of the roof and then nail down timbers to support the installation of a new roof.
- Work at height in a live environment with elderly residents on site.
- Support the re-roofing of a Care Home in Hemel Hempstead, including removing roofing sections, re-boarding, and re-felting.
- Collaborate with the team to complete the project within the planned timeframe.
- Onsite training will be provided for working at height and will enhance your CV and career progression.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Physically fit and comfortable working at height.
- Capable of working either as part of a team or individually.
- Flexible to work on site in a live environment and adapt to project needs.
