We are a well-established and growing construction company specialising in social housing regeneration, refurbishment, and education projects, delivering high-quality schemes that positively impact communities.

Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects.

The Role

  • Take commercial responsibility for refurbishment and regeneration projects
  • Manage project costs, budgets, and financial reporting
  • Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Procure and manage subcontractor packages
  • Administer contracts (JCT/NEC) effectively
  • Identify risks and opportunities to maximise project value
  • Work closely with site and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors where required

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or strong QS ready to step up)
  • Background in social housing refurbishment, regeneration, or education projects
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
  • Excellent commercial and financial management skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach
