We are a well-established and growing construction company specialising in social housing regeneration, refurbishment, and education projects, delivering high-quality schemes that positively impact communities.
Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects.
The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will:
- Take commercial responsibility for refurbishment and regeneration projects
- Manage project costs, budgets, and financial reporting
- Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages
- Administer contracts (JCT/NEC) effectively
- Identify risks and opportunities to maximise project value
- Work closely with site and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors where required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or strong QS ready to step up)
- Background in social housing refurbishment, regeneration, or education projects
- Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Excellent commercial and financial management skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach
