Job Description

  • Internal Sales Executive
  • Reporting To: Branch Manager

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide an exceptional level of customer service by supporting customers throughout the sales process, ensuring enquiries, quotations and orders are handled professionally, accurately and efficiently.

Working closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues, the Internal Sales Executive contributes to the overall success of the branch by delivering the standards expected.

  • Supplier Liaison
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, stock availability and deliveries.
  • Resolve supplier queries promptly and professionally.
  • Build positive working relationships with suppliers.
  • Branch Support
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the branch.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Maintain high standards of organisation and housekeeping.
  • Contribute positively towards branch performance.
  • Development of the Role
  • Proactively following up quotations to maximise quote conversion.
  • Recording customer feedback.
  • Contacting new account customers.
  • Supporting dormant account development.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase customer spend by understanding customer projects and future requirements.
  • Assisting with key account development.
  • Supporting branch sales initiatives.
