Overview

Due to growth we are currently for a Solar Electrician on behalf of one of the UK's fastest-growing renewable energy and electrical infrastructure companies.

Established over 10 years, they specialise in Solar PV, solar battery storage, and EV charging systems, managing every stage from initial design and planning through to installation and maintenance.

They do a lot of work for automotive dealerships including BMW, Volvo and Peugeot.

They also do work on retail parks, farms, manufacturers, charging forecourts, hotels and within the educational sector.

Working nationwide, you'll deliver EV charging, commercial electrical installations, solar PV, battery storage and industrial infrastructure projects.

Ideal for a motivated electrician looking to further their career in a growing sector.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, paying £40k - £50k per annum.

Perks include company van which can be used for private use, overtime, pension, career progression, industry-leading training and 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

You will also receive a day off on your birthday.

The company are based in Hull but the majority of the work is working away.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial electrical installations.
  • EV charger installation and commissioning.
  • Solar PV and battery storage installations.
  • Electrical testing and inspection.
  • Fault finding and remedial works.
  • Working safely and professionally on customer sites.
  • Accurate reporting and completion documentation.

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  • 18th Edition.

  • ECS Card.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to travel.
