We are currently recruiting for Plumbers/HIU Engineers on behalf of a national provider of sustainable heating solutions. Operating for over 35 years, they have hundreds of staff working for them across multiple offices in the UK. Their services include the design, installation, maintenance and management of plant rooms and heat networks on behalf of local authorities, universities, factories, housing associations, private landlords and utility energy suppliers.

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installing and commissioning HIUs and carrying out plumbing works on new build residential sites. The ideal candidate will have a plumbing background and knowledge of HIUs. The company will also provide training. This is a permanent position, covering London, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The salary is £42,681 per annum. Other benefits include:

Responsibilities:

  • Response service fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works
  • Planned preventative maintenance works
  • Planned on site new installation product commissioning works
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
  • Working Health & Safety Practice
  • Take part in the on-call rota

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Engineering qualification to a minimum NVQ level within a related field
  • Current technical background, preferably building services engineering related
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry
  • Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems
  • Full UK Driving License
