The predicted salary is between 13 - 22 £ per hour.
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician for 5 to 6 months to work on various National Grid contracts throughout the South East covering the following locations:
- Sellindge Substation, Kent
- Lovedean Substation, Hampshire
- Bolney Substation, West Sussex
- Ninfield Substation, East Sussex
- Fleet Substation, Kent
The work will involve:
- Carrying out electrical installation and testing work without supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.
- Setting out jobs from drawings and specification and requisitioning the necessary installation.
- Implementing Company Quality Procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
- BESC Persons or Competent Persons.
- Have been a registered and completed a recognised apprenticeship or undergone some equivalent method of training in the skills field of Electrician.
- Must have obtained an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation work or approved qualification in Electrical Installation.
- Must have at least 2 years 'hands on' experience in a power generation or distribution sector.
Rates:
- Up to 50hrs - £29/hr
- Over 50hrs & Saturdays - £31/hr
- Sundays - £33/hr
Expenses:
- £75/night lodging allowance over 50 miles from site in London area.
