Overview
Due to growth we are currently for a Head of Operations & Maintenance on behalf of one of the UK's fastest-growing renewable energy and electrical infrastructure companies.
Established over 10 years, they specialise in Solar PV, solar battery storage, and EV charging systems, managing every stage from initial design and planning through to installation and maintenance.
They do a lot of work for automotive dealerships including BMW, Volvo and Peugeot.
They also do work on retail parks, farms, manufacturers, charging forecourts, hotels and within the educational sector.
As the Head of Operations & Maintenance you will lead and grow a nationwide O&M department responsible for EV charging, solar PV and renewable energy infrastructure.
A senior leadership role combining operational excellence, commercial performance and team development.
This is not simply a technical management role.
We require a commercially minded leader who can drive department growth, improve operational performance and deliver exceptional customer service whilst maintaining profitability.
This is a permanent position based in Hull, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, paying £50k - £65k per annum..
Responsibilities
- Lead the nationwide O&M function.
- Manage service delivery, ticket management and workflow.
- Drive turnover and profitability targets.
- Develop engineers and support staff.
- Improve customer communication and retention.
- Build operational processes and accountability.
- Manage supplier and subcontractor performance.
- Identify and remove delivery bottlenecks.
