Overview Due to expansion we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Contract Manager on behalf of well recognised Building Services contractor, who provide a range of services including Mechanical Services, Electrical Services, Air Conditioning Services and Refurbishment works. Operating for over 50 years, they offer their services to wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, health, leisure and education. Recent clients include the likes of Rudding Park Hotel, Cedar Court, Yorkshire Building Society, Care Homes, Schools and Colleges. As the Contract Manager you will have overall responsibility for the contract, engineers, and sub-contractors including commercial and reporting. Day to day close liaison with the client. The ideal candidate will be a confident, self-motivating, experienced manager that has worked in Building Services/FM. This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday, and the salary is paying £50k per annum. Benefits include car allowance, pension, annual bonus, and long term service bonuses at 5, 10 and 25 year intervals. You will receive 22 days holidays plus bank holidays, which will increase with length of service. Area of work will be covering West Yorkshire / North Yorkshire area. Responsibilities * To be responsible for all staff, budgets and performance of Building Services maintenance services to ensure day to day contract requirements are fully met. * Ensure a safe working environment. * Managing projects and delivering against contracted targets. * To manage the team including recruitment, development, appraisal, absence, discipline, etc. * To exercise financial and commercial controls in the management of expenditure and income within budget. * Quoting jobs. * To develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction. * To ensure operational delivery is high quality and compliant with statutory and contractual obligations. * To meet all key performance and management indicators. * To add value, increase productivity and identify and implement cost efficiencies Skills & Attributes * Hold relevant electrical qualifications. * Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager ideally with an M&E/Building Services Contractor. * The candidate must have excellent team management skills and can demonstrate team development abilities. * CAFM system experience would be beneficial. * A good understanding of Health and Safety. * Will be able to demonstrate strong financial acumen. * Analytical and methodical in approach to problem solving. * People management and staff supervision skills. * Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. * Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
