Apex Resources Limited are looking for a sharp, driven Site Engineer to join a busy heavy civils team in Wakefield on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will need to be able to travel across West Yorkshire on various different projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting out and surveying for key elements of civils works
- Ensuring works are delivered to spec, programme, and quality standards
- Supporting the site team with technical input and problem-solving
- Managing QA, ITPs, and as-built records
- Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring compliance on site
- Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in heavy civils (roads, bridges, rail, or similar)
- Strong setting out skills and familiarity with surveying equipment
- Good understanding of drawings, specifications, and site processes
- Proactive, organised, and confident communicator
- Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar)
Contract Rate is negotiable dependant on experience. DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL.
