We are recruiting for a part time Bookkeeper for a forward thinking, innovative organisation based in Watford Junction. Working closely with the Payroll & Credit control team, you will have experience using Sage platform and have the ability to work steadily through a high-volume workload. Process driven, the successful candidate will need a keen eye for detail who is happy to get on with the job in hand. This role provides an opportunity to work for an employer who are a market leader in their field.
Duties Include but may not be limited to:
- Experienced Bookkeeper using Sage tools
- Processing invoices
- Assist in day to day finance administration
- Responsible for processing a high volume of invoicing
- Create invoices and enter in Sage
- One-off tasks as required such as chasing workers for additional personal data
- Recording and maintaining financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.
- Updating and balancing general ledger and financial accounts and records.
- Preparing financial reports and statements, such as balance sheet and income statement.
- Managing bank feeds, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy of financial data and documents.
- Developing bookkeeping policies and procedures.
- Assisting with tax filing and organising accounting tasks.
This is an office based role working part time hours (Up to 27 hrs a week). Suitable candidates must have experience in Sage.
