Join one of Glasgow's leading seafood distributors and play a vital role in getting fresh fish to restaurants, retailers, and customers across the UK. We're currently seeking reliable and hardworking Nightshift Warehouse Operatives to join our fast-paced distribution team. If you're comfortable working in a chilled environment and thrive on getting the job done right β this could be the perfect role for you.
Shift: Starting midnight, 40 hours per week
Pay: Β£13.70ph
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking and packing fresh fish and seafood orders
- Handling products with care and attention to hygiene standards
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Labelling, weighing, and quality-checking products
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas in chilled conditions
- Working to tight overnight schedules to ensure next-day dispatch
- Supporting colleagues and following instructions from supervisors
What We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse, food handling, or cold storage experience (preferred but not essential)
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and fast-paced work
- Comfortable working in cold/chilled environments (PPE provided)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
