Trainee Logistics Operative

Apex Resources are looking for a Trainee Logistics Operative for our client based in East Kilbride working a 4 day week on dayshift! Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Operative to manage Goods Out operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely processing throughout the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Goods Out: * Pick and pack items according to dispatch notes or customer orders. * Prepare goods for dispatch, including wrapping, labelling, and documentation. * Load goods safely and efficiently onto delivery vehicles. * Ensure timely handover of goods to couriers or drivers. General Duties: * Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas. * Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly. * Support stock counts and inventory audits. * Always follow company health and safety procedures. * Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
