Apex Resources Limited are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for reliable and hardworking Yard Operative / FLT Drivers to join their busy operations team in Kirkintilloch. This is a day shift position offering stable weekday work with occasional Saturday shifts when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently around the yard
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock and materials across the yard and warehouse areas
- Assisting with goods in and goods out processes
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment
- Carrying out manual handling duties where required
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance preferred) - inhouse licences accepted
- Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Flexible to work occasional Saturdays when required
