We are seeking a dedicated Recycling Worker in Kilsyth area. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the collection, sorting, and processing of recyclable materials. Duties
- Collect recyclable materials from designated areas using appropriate tools and equipment
- Sort recyclables accurately according to material type and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the recycling site to ensure efficient operations
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any faults or issues promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Previous experience in waste management, recycling facilities, or related manual labour roles is advantageous but not essential
- Physical fitness and stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions during long shifts are required
- A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and environmental practices is highly valued
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 10am-7pm
Friday 9am-5:30pm
