We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for a well-established freight and distribution operation based in Dartford. This is a fast-paced logistics environment involved in UK freight movements, pallet network distribution, and time-sensitive consignments, operating through a busy South East transport hub.
The Role
- Driving Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) vehicles depending on daily allocation.
- Trunking between depots, logistics hubs, and regional distribution centres.
- Delivering and collecting palletised freight and general cargo.
- Working with time-sensitive schedules and pre-planned routes.
- Completing all delivery paperwork and proof of delivery documentation accurately.
- Ensuring loads are safely secured and compliant with all transport regulations.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
- Liaising professionally with planners, warehouse staff and site teams.
- Adhering to all driver hours, transport legislation and safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) Licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
