Apex Resources Ltd urgently require experienced DAYSHIFT warehouse operators for their manufacturing client in Inchinnan. Experience of working in a fast-paced, target-driven warehouse environment is essential for this role. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be essential in managing the flow of materials and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in materials handling and warehouse experience to perform tasks such as stocktaking, picking & packing, and shipping & receiving. Your operation and familiarity with warehouse management systems will enhance productivity. Additionally, your relevant skills in heavy lifting will support our commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects including:
- Stock location and rotation
- Handheld scanner and warehouse experience
- Dealing with paperwork (out of stock sheets)
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
- Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders
- Adhering to health & safety requirements and high-quality standards
- Standing and walking for long periods
- Lifting and moving potentially heavy parts/products
- Comfortable in lifting and bending
- Excellent hand/eye coordination
This is a dayshift position working Monday to Thursday - 8:30am-17:00pm and Friday 8:30am-16:00pm paid at £12.21 per hour. This role is long-term temporary ongoing with the potential of full-time for the right candidates.
Please note that all applicants must be able to provide full right to work documentation, evidence of a national insurance number from an official letter from HMRC, and have an active bank account in their own name for processing wages. This is in line with our ISO accreditation and GLA compliance standards.
