Are you an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a new permanent opportunity? We are currently hiring on behalf of a well established removals company based in Edinburgh, offering immediate starts and competitive pay.
Position Details:
- Location: Edinburgh
- Contract Rate: £17.00-18.00 per hour DOE
- Employment Type: Temp2Perm
- Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Class 2 vehicles for household and commercial removals
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture and goods (manual handling required)
- Provide excellent customer service on site
- Ensure safe transport and secure handling of items
- Complete both local and long distance UK wide jobs (occasional overnight stays may be required)
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- New passes welcome as long as they know basics how to use tachograph
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling/lifting
- Previous removals or multi-drop experience preferred but not essential
- Strong work ethic, punctual, and professional attitude
