Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure We’re currently looking for an experienced Civils Sub Agent to join a major civil engineering project, supporting the successful delivery of large-scale works from site mobilisation through to completion.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on and driven civils professional who is confident managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
The Role As Civils Sub Agent, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day site delivery, working closely with subcontractors, site teams and project management to ensure works remain on programme, within budget and to specification.

Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring works are delivered in line with project requirements, specifications and programme.
- Oversee daily site briefings and supervise subcontractor task briefings.
- Coordinate and manage site resources, including labour, materials and traffic management.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation and environmental requirements.
- Plan, measure and review project progress, identifying risks, delays and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the wider project team to maintain programme, budget and quality expectations.
- Support the successful delivery of large-scale civil engineering works from planning through to completion.
About You We’re looking for someone with a strong background in civil engineering and site delivery, with previous experience working in a Sub Agent, Site Agent or similar role.
You will ideally have
- Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects.
- Strong subcontractor management and site coordination experience.
- Good understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Experience managing resources and monitoring project progress.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
