We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV / Fleet Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining fleet vehicles to the highest safety and compliance standards, ensuring maximum vehicle availability and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled four-weekly vehicle inspections in line with DVSA/VOSA compliance standards.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, including servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise fleet downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with company procedures.
Potential earnings: 60k-65k+
Hourly Rate: 21.00 per hour, increased to 22.00 per hour upon successful completion of probation period. Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate. Company vehicle provided for home use following successful probation completion. On-call allowance of 140 per week.
