We are currently recruiting experienced Multi-Drop Van Drivers for ongoing work based in Thurrock. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established drinks distribution operation delivering premium wines and spirits to restaurants, hotels, bars, retailers and hospitality venues across London and the South East.
The Role
- Driving a 3.5T long wheelbase van.
- Completing multi-drop deliveries throughout London and surrounding areas.
- Delivering premium wines and beverages to hospitality customers.
- Loading and unloading cases of wine and spirits.
- Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
- Using a handheld device/app to record deliveries, obtain proof of delivery and update delivery statuses in real time.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
- Providing exceptional customer service at every delivery point.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B).
- Minimum 1 year’s van driving experience.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of London road networks.
- Comfortable using delivery apps, handheld devices and electronic proof of delivery systems.
- Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling.
