Our client has a full-time permanent position available for a Production Team Leader at their site base in Crayford Kent. This role is available to start immediately subject to interview.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
- Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
- Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly.
- Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated.
- Ensure that quality concerns are reported to the appropriate personnel and that proper process controls are followed in the event of a quality issue raised.
- Ensure the team are aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities.
- Manage work order closures (scanning where applicable).
- Manage picking to your area – ensure prior day line loading is adhered to by the pickers/stores.
Requirements:
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations.
- Is self-aware, resilient, assertive, and open to change.
- Work independently, reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lead by example.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- At least 3 years’ experience in leading a team.
