Our client has a full-time permanent position available for a Production Team Leader at their site base in Crayford Kent. This role is available to start immediately subject to interview.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
  • Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly.
  • Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated.
  • Ensure that quality concerns are reported to the appropriate personnel and that proper process controls are followed in the event of a quality issue raised.
  • Ensure the team are aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities.
  • Manage work order closures (scanning where applicable).
  • Manage picking to your area – ensure prior day line loading is adhered to by the pickers/stores.

Requirements:

  • Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Is self-aware, resilient, assertive, and open to change.
  • Work independently, reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in leading a team.
